Orange County, CA — The California Association of Health Insurance Professionals Orange County (CAHIP-OC) has been named the 2025 Outstanding Community Partner of the Year by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Southern California Chapter, recognizing the organization’s longstanding commitment to supporting the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The award celebrates the extraordinary generosity and ongoing dedication of CAHIP-OC members, whose fundraising, volunteerism, and community leadership have helped advance critical research and patient support efforts throughout Southern California.
For many years, the members of CAHIP-OC have supported the mission of the CF Foundation through its annual Take a Swing Fore A Cure Tournament, as well as its participation in events such as Beach Brews & BBQ, the Don Baylor Memorial Golf Classic and other Cystic Fibrosis Foundation initiatives. Through sponsorships, attendance, and hands-on volunteer support, CAHIP-OC members have played a significant role in raising awareness and funds to support the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The chapter was nominated for the award by members of the Foundation’s Southern California Chapter staff and selected in recognition of the chapter’s consistent support and leadership within the community.
“This honor reflects the consistent commitment of our members to making a difference beyond our industry,” said Sarah Knapp, President of CAHIP-OC. “Our chapter is proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the important work being done to improve and extend the lives of those living with cystic fibrosis.”
The recognition highlights the power of community partnerships in advancing the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and improve quality of life for those affected by the disease.
